Chartered Institute of Management Accountants

CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) is the world‘s largest regulated professional body for management accountants. The body with 110,000 members located in 177 countries is headquartered in London. With over 1,000 employer training contracts its training programme has a strong resemblance to the fabled German “dual track” training system.

Accountants Group in Germany e.V

The Accountants Group in Germany e.V. (AGIG) has been organizing two seminars a year since 1980. The range of topics is wide and an impressive range of speakers has been assembled over the years. At the October seminar in Bad Canstatt the speakers panel will be graced among others by Professor Sören Dressler, and IASB Board member Martin Edelmann.

The Alternative Board (TAB)

The Alternative Board (TAB) has been a leading provider of business coaching services and peer advisory boards for over 25 years.  With approx. 350 franchise partners worldwide TAB operates regional business owner advisory boards.  The  members benefit from the expertise and experience of other business owners in mastering their own challenges by actioning the takeaways of regular business owner advisory boards and business coaching sessions as well as TAB’s own strategic planning and business diagnostic tools.  Each business owner advisory board usually comprises between six and eight business owners or  SME CEOs who meet  monthly  in confidential think-tank mode under the guidance of a qualified board facilitator.

Chartered Global Management Accountants

The CGMA (Chartered Global Management Accountants) is a joint venture between CIMA and the 350,000 member strong American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Whilst all CIMA members are automatically entitled to the designation, this does not apply to AICPA members. Currently there are 140.000 designated CGMAs. The aim of the organization is to further promote the regulated profession of Chartered Management Accountant internationally.
